Terms of Service

What Frontage does

Frontage reads a business’s existing web page, or a description you write, and builds a website from it. Sites are generated automatically. We do not promise any particular design, wording or result, and you are responsible for checking a site before you use it.

Credits

• Building and editing sites costs credits. What each action costs is shown in your usage log.
• A plan grants a fixed number of credits at the start of each month.
• Monthly plan credits do not carry over. Any plan credits left at the end of a month are removed when the new month's credits are granted.
• Credits bought as a top-up are different: they do not expire, and they are not removed at the start of a new month. They stay in the account until they are spent.
• Plan credits are always spent first. A top-up is only drawn on once the month's plan credits are used up, so the credits that expire are used before the ones that do not.
• Annual plans are paid once for the year, and credits are still granted monthly, not all at once.
• Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.

Payment, and no refunds

All payments are final. Subscriptions, plan changes and credit top-ups are non-refundable. This includes unused credits, partly used months, and time remaining on a cancelled plan.

Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not refund what has already been paid, and you keep access for the rest of the period you paid for.

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record. Their terms, and any refund right you have under the law where you live, apply in addition to this policy and are not removed by it.

Your content and the sites you build

You are responsible for what you build and publish, and for having the right to use the business details, text and images that go into it. Capturing a page you do not own does not give you rights to its content, its photographs or its trade marks.

You own the sites you create. We host them while your account is active.

Acceptable use

You may not use Frontage to:

• Impersonate a business you are not authorised to represent.
• Publish unlawful, deceptive or infringing content.
• Attempt to overload, break or work around the service's limits.
• Resell access to the service without our agreement.

We may suspend or close an account that does these things. Where we close an account for a breach of these terms, no refund is due.

Availability

Frontage depends on services we do not control, and is provided as-is without a guarantee of uptime. We do not accept liability for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page, and continuing to use Frontage after a change means you accept it.
